WomenToKnow Welcomes Ann Hopkins Avery

September 22, 2015 New York City, New York

Women To Know is pleased to announce the addition of Ann Hopkins Avery, Manager of Professional Development at Vedder Price, as an Advisory Board Member. Prior to Vedder Price, Ann was the Director of Legal Programs at The International Association of Defense Counsel and a Litigation Associate at Freeborn & Peters.

“I’m thrilled to join the Women to Know Advisory Board, and I am looking forward to meeting, and learning from other women in the legal and legal technology industry. It’s a dynamic time in the legal industry, and Women to Know provides a fabulous forum for connecting women and helping them shape their future.”

Members of the Women To Know Advisory Board play advisory roles at the program level and the personal level. They help develop the topics, worksheets and content for the Women To Know workshops, and they choose the core issues we must address to advance women’s careers. Women to Know Advisory Board members collectively shape the content featured at the organization’s workshops and virtual events. The Advisory Board also serves as personal advisors for other Women To Know members. As a Women To Know Advisory Board member, Ann will offers members this guidance and will partner with workshop participants to ensure accountability and encourage success.
